Challah Covers
This challah cover was made for a dear friend, but it can be
re-done just as it is, or with many other Judaic designs and
fabric colors. In the center of the dark grey velvet is a
beautiful torah embroidered in shades of orange, brown and
purple. The outside has a purple twist binding and back is
lined. Hebrew below: Shabbat V'yom Tov.

Matzah Covers
The cover below is made of dupioni silk (front and back) and has
two inner cotton linings so that three pieces of matzah can be
placed inside. The "Mah Nishtanah" is embroidered in a
circle around the Hebrew word for Passover. Finished size
is 16" x 16".

Similar cover made of turquoise dupioni silk with embroidered
star and "mah nishtanah" done in an arc. Also has three
inside compartments.

Torah Binders
A binder is used to secure the torah scrolls when closed.
It is also the "holy" garment used to touch the torah before and
after an aliyah (blessing) if the person reciting the blessing
is not wearing a tallit. The binders below were custom
made for a Rabbi's sons; each is embroidered on Thai silk with
the child's name and the names of both of parents. They
are lined and backed with silk and each has an embroidered
design (dove, sun and rainbow.) They are photographed so
as to protect the Rabbi's privacy.
