Beads & Stones

I have an extensive inventory of beads in many colors, finishes and shapes and I continually purchase new ones, so getting the look you want is easy! I use only imported Czech glass, natural stone glass pearls or gold/silver plated -- never any plastic or acrylic beads.  Many choices are listed on the order form, but I am always happy to make a suggestion.  If you want to match your tallit, a special garment of clothing or have a particular color in mind, feel free to e-mail me.  If I don't have it, chances are I can get what you want from one of my suppliers within a few days.

Swarovski Crystal

For that very special, sparkly kippah, you may choose 4mm Swarovski Austrian crystal beads (only $15- $25 more) which are available in a wide selection of colors.  To see a color chart, click here

Organza Carrying Bag

Each kippah comes in its own organza drawstring bag.

My Competition?

There is an old saying ... BUYER BEWARE!  When I first started making kippot, there were a handful of sites offering cheap, flimsy pieces of junk.  Now they are everywhere including eBay and Etsy, a site for only handmade items.  If you have trouble locating them, I'll be glad to direct you :-)

Do you want something made with bugle beads strung on nylon filament or thin craft wire?  Most have only a handful of acrylic or molded plastic beads and are woven so loosely that they have a distorted shape after being worn only a few times.  And would it shock you to learn that many of them sell for $60-$90?  I know you would rather invest in a well-made kippah that you will treasure for many years to come or be proud to give as a gift!

Here's what makes my kippot so special:

1. Wire is clear coated, tarnish resistant.
2. Wire is tightly "woven" (not randomly twisted) and will not easily bend out of shape.
3. Centerpieces and stones used throughout are Czech glass, Austrian crystal, stone, ceramic, gold plated or sterling silver.
4. Flexible plastic comb or clip is wired into the kippah, so no hairpins are ever needed!  A special gripper fabric is added to the clip for very fine hair.
5. Quality control:  My kippot are not mass produced in China.  I personally make each one as a custom order.

So YOU  be the judge and have the satisfaction of knowing your money was well spent!
