Parochet Hebrew College, Newton MA The parochet (ark curtain) below was commissioned by a class of graduating Rabbis for their portable Aron Ha'Kodesh.  The background is a pale shimmery gold china silk and stripes are from two blue shades of dupioni silk.  Metal rings are clipped to the top for installation and a metal wand is attached at the right for opening easily -- and to keep the silk clean.  It is weighted at the bottom so it hangs nicely.  Lined in white cotton with a dedication at the hem.
