Loom Weaving

The art of weaving on a loom has always fascinated me!  And to show that "you're never too old to learn something new" I took a three week course in weaving.  Now I'm hooked!  After my first class, and with luck on my side, I found a beautiful Schacht 4-harness loom on Craig's list.  The owner had it for over 25 years and kept it in pristine condition.  With a few months of practice, I'm hoping to begin weaving tallit.

Below are some pictures from my weaving class and close-ups of the sampler I made on an antique counter-balance loom.  I asked one of my classmates to take my picture, but it never came out :-(
